Indian Hydrobiology (ISSN 0971-6548), was founded byProfessor V.Krishnamurthy in the year 1995 with Volume No. 1 It publishes original research findings and reviews papers on all aspects of aquatic organisms concerning environment and exploitation of these for the benefit of human beings. The journal published one volume with two numbers a year (June and December) supplied to members. Existing Life members may opt for a soft copy of the issues in PDF format from volume 23 (1) onwards in the place of a hard copy and no new life members will be enrolled from 2024 onwards. The latest issue of Indian Hydrobiology vol. 22 no. 2 December 2023.
