Original Research/Review Articles are invited for publication in Vol 25 (1&2) to be released in September 2026. The last date for receipt of articles: 31st July 2026 .

Indian Hydrobiology is expecting more articles for viable publication of the current volume 26 with numbers 1 and 2 together to be released in September 2026. This is going to be the last volume of Indian Hydrobiology with which the publication of the journal will be stopped as we received only limited number of articles from the stack holders. September issue will also be fruitful only when we receive sufficient number of articles.

Subscription through membership is temporarily discontinued as we are not sure of bringing out the volume 25 in September. Announcement regarding subscription for the current issue will be notified at appropriate time

Indian Hydrobiology (ISSN 0971-6548), was founded by Professor V.Krishnamurthy in the year 1995 with Volume No. 1 It publishes original research findings and reviews papers on all aspects of aquatic organisms concerning environment and exploitation of these for the benefit of human beings. The journal published one volume with two numbers a year (June and December) supplied to members. Existing Life members may opt for a soft copy of the issues in PDF format from volume 23 (1) onwards in the place of a hard copy and no new life members will be enrolled from 2024 onwards. The latest issue of Indian Hydrobiology vol. 23 no.1 June 2024.
